So long I haven’t post anything on this blog, I was doing another daily job which was really make me tired during the daytime. It’s fun tough because I work on my another hobby: Music. Well, I have started to build my own small recording studio with some couple friends of mine, and I still need much more time to take care of it since it’s new and people doesn’t know about it very well. So, talking about music, I love to hear and play Rock -kind of music which are really gets into me and it’s sounds really ‘me’, ah it’s hard to explain but that’s the way it is, I just love rock music!. I’ve listened and played so much song from thus genre, from jimmy hendrix to dream theater, from sex pistols to metallica, Guns & roses, and so much more. But recently I listened to the Green Police, their music sounds nice of course if you are familiar with punk-rock genre.
The Green Police is a garage/punk rock band from Claremore and Verdigris, Oklahoma. The Green Police members are Duss Rosencutter on vocals and guitar, Drew “the Screw” Wilson on guitar, Chris Pixley on bass, and Evan Campbell on drums. They started to group and using the name since 2006, The Green Police’s influences including The Buzzcocks, X, and 60 style Garage & Surf music. The Green Police also are big fans of Johnny Cash and The Green River Killers. Their songs are often fast paced, with distorted yet melodic guitars, complex bass riffs, with harsh but fun vocals. Maybe it will be strange for some people if they hear their music for the first time, but I bet you will have your head banging after two or more listening to their song.
